Bonfire Party

November 5, 2024

The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all came together Monday night for our Scout group's annual bonfire party. There were lots of fireworks to watch, more than enough hot dogs and burgers for everyone to eat and all the songs the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts chose to sing were sung loudly!

The Scout group is watching the fireworks display together. The colours of the shot cake are giving an eerie glow to the trees behind them. Two Beavers with ear defenders on and a Scout watch the fireworks display. The shot cake has left a streak of sparks as it sent a shot into the air, while the Catherine wheel spins brightly beside it.One Cub is exclaiming excitedly to his friend as the fountain firework crackles brightly. Two Scouts look at one of the fountain fireworks on display. They thought it looks like the fleur-de-lis symbol of Scouting.Beavers and a Scout watch as a duo of fountains sparkle brightly. Two adult volunteers are leading the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts in campfire songs of their choice.

It's always great to see all the sections together, enjoying themselves. Thanks to all our pyrotechnicians for creating such a marvellous display this year.
